Your journey begins with a scenic drive into the island’s mountainous interior, where the air grows cooler and the forest thickens. First stop: Spanny Falls, a hidden gem tucked away in the rainforest. Choose to view from the upper trail or take a short but slightly adventurous hike down to the base for a rewarding swim beneath the cascading water.
Next, head to Emerald Pool, one of Dominica’s most iconic natural sites and part of the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Morne Trois Pitons National Park.
